My name is Colleen Schuck.

I live in Southern Michigan with my DH (dear hubby) and 6 fur babies. 5 Maltese and 1 Yorkie. I have 5 married children, 18 grandchildren (at last count), 3 great-grandchildren.

From the first wonky bead I made in June 2005 I have been totally addicted to melting glass. While I don't possess any fancy degrees I have had many successful accomplishments in the Artistic World. I taught Tole painting, Sewing & how to make Porcelain dolls. For several years I designed and manufactured a clothing pattern line for Porcelain dolls. I have designed for some of the top Doll Artist as well as Danbury Mint, Ashton Drake and others.

I use Italian & American glass for all my beads and sculptures.  They are properly annealed in a digitally controlled kiln to give them strength and durability. Please keep in mind .....they are glass and can be broken under the right circumstances.  Glass beads or jewelry made from glass should never be worn by children under 6.
